One-Day Pharmaceutical Industrial Visit-Glenmark Unit-II

The Placement and Training Cell, IIC, and IQAC, along with Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, jointly organized a one-day pharmaceutical industrial visit for B. Pharmacy students in their 8th semester on 9th April 2025. Faculty members Mr. Akshay Thakur, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Ruchika Sharma, Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics), Sunny Bhardwaj and Dheeraj Kumar, Assistant Professor (Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis), and fifty students visited Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Nalagarh, District Solan in Himachal Pradesh. Students visited Liquid, semisolid, and cosmetics production units, the Quality Assurance Department, and packaging sections. Shree Harjot Singh, Production Executive at Glenmark Unit-II, and other officials interacted with students and explained the standards protocol and WHO GMP guidelines followed in their respective departments.
