Fresher’s Party is intended to warmly welcome new students and support their creative talents in order to enhance their confidence. October 10, 2024, marked an unforgettable milestone for the freshers at Laureate Institute of Pharmacy. Freshers’ Day was characterized by an atmosphere filled with anticipation, joy, music, camaraderie, and celebration. It was a day when juniors and seniors came together in a harmonious spirit, celebrating the beginning of their shared academic journey and fostering new connections. The dress code for Fresher’s Day was ‘Beauty and the Beast’. The program started with lamp lightening by Dr. Ran Singh (Managing Director), Dr. M.S. Ashawat (Director cum Principal), all Departmental HOD, and worthy faculty members at Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Kathog. The celebration is followed by the inaugural speech of the program president for the freshers were formally welcomed into the Laureate family which also included the introduction of the whole batch. Beginners and their seniors had the opportunity to display their talent through a magnificent ramp walk and a variety of dance performances, including solo, duo, and group dances. Later, little games were planned to make the event more challenging and entertaining the function. Later, they were instructed to form a line, and then a round of questions was conducted, from which Mr. and Ms. Freshers, and Mr. and Mrs. Personality were selected. There was tough competition among the freshers as they all were amazing!
The Jury members were chosen as Mr. and Miss Freshers, and Mr. and Mrs. Personality respectively. The event was finally concluded with a vote of thanks by Professor C.P.S. Verma, (Dean Students Welfare).
